About Us

After many years of going out to bars and restaurants it became apparent to me that almost every establishment out there offers some sort of food and/or drink special on any given night. I found myself becoming obsessed with these specials wherever I was and over time began to start writing them down on napkins, in my cell phone, or wherever was convenient. Writing these specials down turned into an excel spreadsheet, and after a couple years of tracking this stuff I started to get asked, "Hey, what beer specials are going tonight in on Bardstown Rd?"

I began to keep track a little more in detail and soon found ourselves sifting through hundreds of weeknight, weekday, and game day specials. It was at this point that I realized this could be a good idea for a website. One site to go to for an easy to navigate list of specials, broken down by area of town, type of special, type of establishment, and day of the week.

I realized that for this thing to every actually happen I would need to bring someone else in who could actually stay on track and make sure things would get done. I talked to a buddy who loved the concept and said he’d get on board.

We quickly got in touch with two incredibly talented computer guys and after months and months of gathering data, revising, and tweaking the format; we finally got a finished product.

The site will continue to expand and make every attempt to be as user friendly as possible. Please let us know if you have suggestions or any tips on specials that we may not have on the site.
